About Pacita Prasarn
Since 1996 I have been studying Middle Eastern Belly Dance in as many forms as I can find. From Egyptian cabaret and Turkish Romany to Folkloric dances and Modern Tribal. I have been featured on television in Asia and have taught workshops there as well as in the New England and East Coast area of the USA.
I fell in love with Middle Eastern Dance over 13 years ago & since then I have:
- Taken every dance class my time and pocket will allow (and a few that they didn’t allow :)
- Pursued haflas in many parts of the country like a rock star groupie
- Filled at least 1/3 of my living space with hipscarves, tassle belts, veils, swords, canes, sticks, trays, candles, music, drums, dance books, culture and history books, dance notes, garb, costumes, videos, dvds, jewelry, makeup, mirrors, and luggage (gotta carry it somehow, it’s a lot of stuff!).
- Often shimmied while waiting in line at the store, while cooking, anywhere really...
In short, I am a Middle Eastern Belly Dance addict.
